The Enterprising Researcher

Following the success of last year's 'Enterprising Researcher' residential, the Universities of York and Leeds have collaborated with the Graduate Entrepreneurship Project to bring you this three day residential course, set in the White Hart Hotel in Harrogate on the 25th ,26th and 27th March 2010, free of charge.

This course is designed primarily for EPSRC funded PhD students, postdocs and research staff and is intended to introduce you to the skills of identifying and taking advantage of commercial or social opportunities in your research and future career. Using case-studies and participative workshops, you will gain practical experience of the challenges faced in taking research to market. The course includes input from external experts and academic entrepreneurs who will provide you with real perspectives on the varied issues of application.
